I was planning my first international trip with my best friend, Natasha. It was on our bucket list to travel to Bali together. However, as it was our first trip to a foreign land, we had no idea how to turn our plans into action. We talked to several travel agents as well as checked a few online sites, but the overall cost was going out of our budget. In between, one of my cousins suggested that I check out Thrillophilia’s site. Before this, I had only seen a few online advertisements of Thrillophilia.

The next day, Natasha and I did a detailed research on this site. The best thing was that there were pretty affordable and impressive packages for Bali. To be extra sure, we read almost each and every Bali trip review which made us finalise our decision to go with Thrillophilia. Both of us confirmed the ‘Escape to Bali’ package for 6 days and 5 nights.

I must say that the booking process was extremely smooth and convenient which hardly required any effort. Now all that was left to do was booking flight tickets, a lot of shopping and packing for our dream getaway to Bali.

I am so glad I chose Thrillophilia…

A Traveller's Story: My Review of Bali Trip with Thrillophilia

On day 1, from Ubud International Airport we got transferred to our pre-booked hotel. Even though our first day was at leisure, we did not wish to waste a single second of our trip. We quickly freshened up, took a lot of pictures after getting ready and then headed out to explore the city on our own.

From our hotel, we took a tuk-tuk to the Ubud Art Market. It was a colourful, busy street with a lot of shops and local food stalls. Being shopaholics, we couldn’t stop buying a lot of items and spent a huge amount of money on the very first day of our trip. An honest suggestion from my end, do not visit the market of Bali first, maybe save it for the last. Next, we visited the Bird Park where we got to see a lot of colourful birds of different shapes and sizes, some of which we did not even know existed.

Day 2 of our itinerary included a sightseeing tour of Central Bali. Our tour started by visiting the famous Kintamani Village which looked straight out of a painting. We also explore other places like coffee plantations, Tegenungan Waterfalls and Tegalalang Rice Terrace. We ended our day by trying the viral Bali swing and capturing the best shots for our insta.

Third day, we checked-out of our hotel and were transferred to Alas Kedaton. We kept our day 3 simple, which only included Monkey Forest and Tanah Lot Temple. The most memorable experience of that day was to peacefully admire the gorgeous sunset from the temple. At night, we checked-in to our hotel and restored our energy for the next day.

Our fourth day was extremely fun which included a tour of South Bali. We started the day by visiting the famous Tanjung Benoa Beach. There we tried a lot of fun water sports like scuba diving, rafting and paddle boarding. At last, we made sure to try flyboarding which was one of the most recommended activities in the Thrillophilia Bali trip reviews. Next, we visited the Uluwatu Temple and offered our prayers.

Sadly, day 5 was the last day of our trip and the next day was our departure. But we promised each other to make the most of this day. Our driver dropped us off at Sanur Harbour from where we took a speedboat to the much awaited destination, Nusa Penida Island. We explored breathtakingly beautiful beaches like Angel’s Billabong, Kelingking Beach and Broken Bay. Both of us also tried snorkelling and we were pretty amazed to see what the underwater world looks like. In the evening, we grabbed our favourite drinks, played our favourite songs on loop and witnessed the sunset peacefully.
